Hi Mom!
Things are going well here, and the Zone´s really getting more into the work. There are a few companionships that need a little help, but we´re really working and praying to know what we can do for them. It´s really interesting how inspiration comes, and how, at times, it´s exactly what you need. Last week, we decided we´d start putting pass-along cards in all of the mailboxes in our area, because lots of people work and they aren´t at home at times. Yesterday, one of our appointments didn´t pan out, and we were out of people to teach, so we went up towards the chapel to wait for a ride to our next appointment. I talked to a lady at the intersection, who was saying that she wasn´t feeling good, and we started talking to her about the Book of Mormon. When she saw it, she said she´d received a card that had a number to call to receive the book! And she lived right in the area where we´d been leaving pass along cards! It was truly a miracle, and I´m glad that I not only opened my mouth, but that we´d received the inspiration to start passing out the cards, even if it didn´t seem effective. It was so great, and it really motivated me to keep going!
I´ve been talking about food a lot with Elder Gill, and I´m going to cook Thanksgiving Dinner for President and Sister Cordon, so I´m super excited! I might need you to look up some recipes for me, but I´ll keep looking.
Have a great week!!!
Love you!!!!!!!!
Eric
Hey Dad!
I´m great! Zone Conferences are Halloween, the day we were baptized. We´ve got a really cool training to get together about asking inspired questions, and Elder Gill and I are really excited. We´ve been talking a lot about a lot of stuff, and it´s really been cool to see how motivated he is to get this work moving in the ward. We´ve got a few things to get together, but I know that it´s all going to go great, and that lots of people will be blessed because of it.
Things are really good! I´m so grateful that God´s blessed you with all this work while I´ve been here, and I know that He´ll continue to take care of us as we strive to serve the Lord together. Nick sounds great, and it keeps getting closer and closer to the day! I´m so excited to hear where he goes! I´m going to keep working hard so that the people here in Ala 2 and Jardim Botânico can feel the joy that we feel. Isn´t it great?
I love you Dad, Have a great week!!!!!!!
Love, Eric
