Hey Mom!
I got on a little early today, but things were really good this week too. We didn´t have the baptism that we were expecting, but we´re going to baptize this weekend at a youth conference! It´s going to be really cool, I´m positive. It´s so crazy how your mind really changes; I remember how I looked at baptisms at the beginning of my mission and how I look at them now, and it´s so different. I know what the objective is now, and I know that the only thing that I have to do is work hard and it´ll come. We have so many people to teach, it´s ridiculous, and we´ll keep on finding people too. It´s so cool to see how your hard work can really pay off: this week we invited a bunch of people to church and worked hard to find new people to teach, but none of them came. The Lord blessed us because of it, though; 7 investigators came to church! One of our recent converts got a calling too! It was such a great meeting, and I truly felt that we were doing what God wanted us to.
Transfers are this week; we find out what happens tonight. Elder Medeiros is pretty nervous, which is kinda making me nervous, but I´m just going to trust in President´s calling and inspiration. So many people are getting ready for baptism that Elder Medeiros wants to stay, and he´s been here for a while already, so he´s getting antsy to know what´s up. We´ll see either way. I´ll let you know next week what happens.
I´m doing great and am super excited to keep working hard! It´s going to be an awesome month and an awesome transfer, for sure! Love you mom! Love you!!!!!!
